For the iAMP Molecular Assay, the viral RNA from the specimen is reverse transcribed into the cDNA process through an isothermal nucleic acid amplification technique wherein DNA amplification is carried out to amplify and detect the specifically targeted genes using a thermocycler at a constant temperature.
