Our advanced flow cytometry technology, utilizing 10-color flow capabilities, revolutionizes cell analysis and characterization. Flow cytometry is a powerful technique that enables rapid and simultaneous measurement of multiple characteristics of cells within a fluid stream. As cells pass through multiple laser beams, they are fluorescently labeled, excited by the laser, and emit light at different wavelengths.
Our optical-to-electronic system effectively captures and records data from the fluorescence emitted by the cells and the scattering of incident laser light. This data is then transformed into valuable insights and quantitative measurements of cellular properties.
By leveraging our 12-color flow technology, we can simultaneously assess a wide range of parameters within each cell, allowing for comprehensive and detailed analysis. This capability is particularly valuable in the field of cancer research, where the characterization of cancer cells is crucial for understanding disease progression and developing targeted therapies.

Where Innovation Meets Precision:
Collection Materials
Specimen collection material consist of: EDTA, RPMI, Flow collection tubes, sterile collection containers, 15mL conical tubes, Polyethyleen Zip Biohazard Bag 5 cm – 9 cm with absorbent pad, specimen labels.
Do not use materials after expiration date, refer to printed dates on tubes and fluids.
Collection materials can be requested through inquiry@exovadx.com or through your local account manager.
Submission Requirements
Specimens should be received at Exova Diagnostics within 24-72 hours from collection to assure sample integrity and acceptable cell viability. Refrigerate specimen. Do not freeze.
Specimen Storage and Transportation
Transport the specimen to the laboratory as soon as possible. Local courier service is available in El Paso, TX for transport. Shipping of specimens within medical institutions should comply with internal guidelines of the institution. Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen.
Shipping Guidelines
Rejection Criteria
Specimens not in adherence to laboratory policy regarding proper collection and preservation of specimens will be rejected from acceptance. Rejection criteria include samples received post 72 hours from collection, expired collection material, collections containing less than the minimum sample volume, unlabeled containers whereas patient identification cannot be determined, and contaminated samples.
Turnaround Times
Technical and Global services are available. Completed Flow Cytometry data analysis is available within 24 hours, and finalized interpretative reports are available within 7-10 days.
